We are all Yoganauts whether we choose to travel or not. We are all born with a Space Suit (your body). This Suit has many bells and whistles which can take a long time to figure out. You first appear into this world with your Suit all zipped up--- No one hands you an Owner's Manual, not even a limited warranty. You must learn to use it all on your own. Nice parents worry a lot and try to keep you comfortable in your Space Suit- But mostly they just watch you intently, wondering if you are some kind of a protege...Little did they know that you are a YOGANAUT! Once you learn a language or two you come to find that there are MANY manuals and beliefs about your Space Suit. From the earliest of times humans have explored the limits, abilities and propensities of the human body. Volumes have been written- Mostly on what can go horribly wrong. After all the centuries of trials and errors there is still no definitive manual that can be handed to every entrant to the planet earth... ...a manual that details how to best inhabit one's own body. All the pertinent information is sure to exist but it is likely to be scattered in many different languages and be filed under many different subjects; after all, it is a very intricate and complex space suit- So complex that the definitive Owner's Manual is not yet available...

LISTEN TO YOUR BODY! One of the great marvels of the Human Space Suit is the built-in homing device that sends out a signal when there is a deviation from the norm. This is commonly referred to as homeostasis. STRESS is a favorite target of this homing device. Even if the mind chooses not to recognize it, the body records every bit of stress. The average daily stress level (ADSL) is not necessarily what the homing device gauges. The actual "thing" that triggered it in the first place is what it keeps track of. While keeping records of WHAT triggers a reaction this device also programs a repeatable pattern in your body that can be re-triggered with or without the "thing" being present. Your Space Suit can in-grain reactions and hide them in the many pockets therein; all unbeknownst to you. (one reason to know well your Suit: to know where all the pockets are.) The ultra-sensitive homing device that is in your Space Suit may choose to leave stress signals on all the time. Obviously, a continuous red alert going off in one's body would be taxing to the organs and affect the overall longevity of the Space Suit...
t ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The first page
of the soon to be available "Manual For The Yoganaut's Suit" says, "Stop
now and listen to what your body is telling you". It goes on to explain
how one should drop all immediate concerns until their internal ears are
tuned. One way to tune in, the Manual says, is:
Sit comfortably, close the eyes and align the spine in space (best done with no back-rest, just balance). Allow excess tension to drop away with the help of gravity. You will know when you are IN TUNE because things will begin to coalesce in your mind's eye...you will become weightless. The release of tension is what uncovers the basic tool of the Yoganauts... WEIGHTLESSNESS! When you are well tuned your sacrum is free of constraints and your brain swims happily in your head. Knots are in your past and the Yoganauts are in your future! SAFE TRAVELS!!!
